We are looking for a STEP qualified solicitor, with at least 4 years PQE experience to join us as an Associate solicitor.
You will already be working at Associate level or ready to be an Associate, with a wide range of experience in the private client team in a law firm; this is an expansion post as new work levels are high.
Our clients include those referred to the team from the Court of Protection team – Wills, statutory wills and Administration of Estates and new clients coming to us for Wills, Powers of Attorney and probate/Administration work. We have a good body of Trust Administration work for family trusts.
The successful candidate will ideally undertake a caseload of estate administration and trust administration work, along with Wills and lasting powers of attorney.
It will be advantage to have experience of supervision of trainee solicitors and/or paralegals as we have an excellent team of junior fee earners requiring supervision and support, which you will provide alongside other senior members of the team.
Work will include daily contact with clients, their families and carers; you will give advice on a wide range of practical and legal issues and run a caseload of your own files under supervision, particularly Trust administration, Wills and Administration of Estates.
The current team of 6 solicitors, two trainee solicitors and one paralegal is supported by 2 dedicated secretaries.
We work on a hybrid basis, with all members of the firm in the office at least one day per week - the mix of home/office is adjusted to suit the individual and the needs of the team they work in. See more about hybrid working here.

Salary range: Commensurate with experience and dependent upon qualifications
