Hugh Jones Solicitors has been crowned the North’s Solicitor Firm of the Year at the British Wills and Probate Awards 2022.
The awards ceremony in Birmingham on 20October highlighted achievement and recognised the successes of those in the Wills and Probate sector. It was hosted by Today’s Wills and Probate.
As well as stand out firms within the industry, the awards celebrate teams of the year including private client and will writing, recognising best use of marketing and technology, innovation and upcoming young practitioners.
Managing Director, Liz Hughes, said: “Our wills and probate team supports clients with will writing and assistance with future planning, including advice on the use of trusts. The majority of our work is for vulnerable clients and their families and the department provides particular support around protection of assets or wishes for individuals who may be disabled or unable to manage their own affairs.”
When presenting the award, the judges said: “It is evident that this firm always seeks to do the right thing for their vulnerable clients, even if it is not the easy thing to do. Their high profile team are well respected and dedicated to helping in their local community.”
Liz concluded: “Wills and probate experts support individuals during what tend to be some of the most emotionally taxing and stressful times of their lives – it’s a hugely important role and we’re extremely proud to have been recognised.”
